Grateful for 2017?

In a recent blog I outlined the 4Gs of Happiness. The final G is Gratitude.

I have been reflecting on the past 12 months of 2017 and what they have given to me.

(To add to the festive vibe please read this to the tune of the ’Twelve Days of Christmas’)

A dozen primary care leaders to coach in east London

11(plus) working trips aboard

10 pointers for brilliant governance, following a great conversation with my colleague David

9 very long train journeys, with wonderful views, a time to pause and the occasional fab restaurant car

8 best behaviours paper (please let me know if you would like a copy)

7 pretty sizeable conferences to moderate

(only one) 6+ hour delay in an airport

5 main sectors to work in

4 points in a well-received - and I am told, helpful - Business Briefing on avoiding burnout

3 very tricky situations to work through (with lots of learning)

(A number of) 2-way mediation sessions, based on the ‘ladder of inference’ (look it up if you don’t know the ladder – it might change your life) and

1 long summer holiday.

Phew.

And to end with a different musical vibe (to the sound of ‘Reasons to be Cheerful’ by Ian Drury), what are your Reasons To Be Grateful, One Two Three Four Five….? I’d be interested to hear.
